HAIRFORCE Q+A

Q: Who influenced this release? Are there specific artists who inspired your work on this release?

HAIRFORCE are proud descendants from a long Viking lineage.
BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN is inspired by traditional Scandinavian folk music and marching band styles. Any resemblance to bombastic 80’s rock bands is purely coincidental.
If you love big hair and 80’s stadium anthems, you’ll love this new 2025 music release from HAIRFORCE.

Q: What's the story behind this release?

After an outrageous knockback for HAIRFORCE from the Eurovision song contest, BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN was conceived during a drinking session during which there was much shouting. Then shouting turned into a great chorus! Rest of the song was delivered by Odin, praise be, great Norse god!
HAIRFORCE sees the world in much turmoil! In the BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN music video, you’ll see a mutant robot army, laser balls, dragons, dead fish and rainbow beams, all metaphors for the past and a positive, bright future.
HAIRFORCE arrives and saves the world with Viking rock.

Q: Tell us what makes this release stand out and why it is significant?

BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN is infused with powerful Viking rock energy, a sorely missed feature from modern music.
HAIRFORCE expertly deploys TWO KEY CHANGES in BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN. This is an unofficial world record for the hairy metal genre.
Also, a rare baby dragon crying has been recorded as the finishing note after this epic musician conquest.

Q: Where did the recording take place? Does the location have a historical or emotional significance?

BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN was recorded during a real life battle between mutant armies and all five HAIRFORCE members atop a rocky outcrop during a threatening lightning storm. Two much-loved sound engineers were injured during this recording.

Q: What was unique about the recording process?

If listening carefully, you can hear the children’s choir during BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN pre-chorus. Heavily stacked backing vocals, multi-layered guitar parts, and a battle scene that must be heard to be believed. Drummer Krash Jaxxon required intense counselling after an intense drum re-recording session, as the original drum performance was deemed unsafe for human consumption.

Q: Do you have any recent or upcoming performances to highlight?

A number of original HAIRFORCE performances in Australia’s Northern Territory, including the famous Darwin Railway Club allowed a Hairley Davidson motorcycle to ride Blaze directly inside the venue, carefully parting the sold out crowd. This is still a very fond memory for HAIRFORCE fans.

Q: Could you share a memorable quote about this release or your journey as an artist?

BRING ZE FARKEN HAUS DOWN has been described as a “cross between The Final Countdown, the Sound of Music and the most epic football club anthems”.
“Never before has rock music, Norse mythology, animal shrieks and high-pitched vocals meld together in such an ear pleasing manner!”
Speaking of production and live performance, HAIRFORCE are regularly quoted as saying ‘MORE is more’!

Q: Is there anything additional that would be valuable for curators to know?

HAIRFORCE are bringing back the proud tradition of tight pants, loud drums, big bass, too many guitars, untamed keyboard solos and viking chant.

The kings of hairy metal have returned… all hail HAIRFORCE!
